Lightning is used to cast a shadow of a detective onto the wall. His silhouette is amplified and he appears mysterious as his identity is concealed. Frond lighting is used on the man as he talks about reporting a murder, this perhaps portrays him as an important figure and main character. Low key lighting is used at 15 seconds where we see a distressed almost annoyed man speak and say “im not a criminal”. Half his face is hidden in the dark whilst the other half is illuminated, perhaps presenting him as two faced; he says he isnt a criminal but he may well be one.
